Dizdar s foundations were laid in 1947 by Abbas Dizdar, who started his business life by buying and selling knives and scissors in a small shop in Eminönü. In the following years, the knife manufacturing was established by Abbas Dizdar, in Silivrikapı and the process of transition to industrialism began. In 1960, after the son Muhittin Dizdar started working in the company, the product range was expanded with the production of forks, spoons and knives. In 1968, with the participation of Burhanettin and Nurettin Dizdar, the company gained new momentum. In 1971 the production was moved to the factory in Bayrampaşa. Here, the production of new products for industrial kitchens started. Moving its modern factory in Esenyurt in 2018, Dizdar continues to produce stainless steel cooking, transportation, preparation, cutlery and service equipment.
